Everyone has a personal and unique knowledge biome around them. Their worldview would be built from various components:

  • Media (books, movies, songs, websites, social networks, comedy, advertisements, etc.) you spend or have spent a lot of time with.
  • Friends and their worldviews.
  • Disciplines of thought you’ve studied.
  • Thinking techniques you use at work and in your hobbies.
  • Places you spend time in and things that are found there.
  • Events in your childhood (especially powerful).
  • Any imagined worlds or scenarios you think about.
  • Ideas you’ve recorded in some physical fashion (i.e., your creative output).

This idea was inspired in part by David Feinstein’s personal mythology idea which refer to an individual’s fundamental stories for making sense and meaning of the world.
